The Wolfman is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, which collaborates with many local organizations resulting in a donation to each of the groups for their efforts. More than 160 people volunteer from these organizations that help contribute to the success of this event. All of this having a large influence the community.
Since 2011 when the Wolfman became a 501(c) 3, the Wolfman has donated to over 24 non-profit organizations in the Wolf River/Langlade area. Our revenue has been fed back into the community with our donations as well as through expenses to pull off the event. In addition, during the Wolfman weekend alone, approx. 2487 participants have visited the area. When factoring in family and friends that number jumps to around 4200 individuals. This does not include those who come to the area during the entire training season prior to the Wolfman. These individuals have come from many states including Colorado, Iowa, Tennessee, Arkansas, Indiana, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Oregon, California, Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, Utah, Wisconsin and even British Colombia Canada.
All profits are donated to nonprofit organizations that volunteer to help with the event. In 2022 we were able to give over $9,000 in donations. Thanks to these groups who made the 2022 Wolfman possible!
